Growing up, I babysat on numerous occasions for children of all ages in the family and helped with the care of several foster babies. For a summer after high school I provided entertaining and engaging learning activities along with regular meals for 2 girls under age 10 2 to 3 times a week. During my undergrad I was a weekly date night babysitter for a 1-year-old child, responsible for his safety and care including feeding, hygiene, stimulating play, and routine activities like music class. After graduating I began care for a 1-week-old infant twice a week until he was 3 months old, when I traveled with the family across the country to help them relocate. My longest and most recent nanny job started as casual date night care for a 5-year-old boy and progressed to include weekly day care for his infant/toddler sister as well. With both children I was responsible for dinner meal prep, playing learning games, outside activities, practicing Spanish, and bedtime routines. I love pets, am a non-smoker, have my own transportation, and would love to have the opportunity to care for your child(ren)!
