My name is Jasmyn Robinson & I have just graduated from The Hamilton and Alexandra College with a raw 86.8 ATAR as of 2020. Throughout my studies, I have prided myself on consistently working to achieve good results academically, while also providing strong leadership through my roles as a School Prefect, House Captain, Drama Captain, Technical Production Captain, and Bus Captain. I have always had the dream and desire to work in the education field and am looking to study a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education in 2022 after taking a gap year this year to gain some more life experience before heading away to study. This passion to work with children has led me to take up many casual babysitting jobs within Portland over the years. My time spent volunteering at the Portland Child & Family Complex saw me undertake many activities when providing high-quality care and education to children from 8 weeks to 6 years. Some of these activities included spending time speaking with the young children and helping them engage in conversation, supervising and monitoring the safety of the children, leading group activities such as arts and crafts, and helping to prepare and organize the meals for the kids.
