My name is Jamie, I'm 21 years and I am currently in my third year of university for a bachelor of psychological sciences and I am extremely passionate about working with kids and young adults. One of the aspects of my caretaking that I value the most is getting to know the kids and parent/s or gaurdian/s so that I can create the best space possible for them and ensure that everyone in my care feels comfortable and happy. I have been babysitting/nannying for the last 8 years for over 15 different families with 1-4 kids aged newborn-14 and I have been a support worker for neurodivergent kids and teens for the 3 years. I also have 2 years of experience as a program leader for an after school care at a neurodivergent school where I was responsible for looking after up to 6 children between the ages for 5-12. The kids I have looked after throughout my experiences have been both neurotypical and neurodivergent with a range of abilities. I pride myself on being supportive, engaging, and having effective communication skills and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have!
