Having worked as an educator in pre-schools, language schools and as a nanny within private households I believe I possess the skills required for the position of in-home nanny. Through my previous roles I have been able to work with children up to the ages 12, caring for their needs and ensuring their engagement with the learning environment. Working as a pre-school assistant, I worked in a teaching team managing a class of 26 2-3 year olds. Additionally, I have worked as a cover teacher in pre-school classes up to the age of 6. In a children’s language school, I held the position of English Teacher then I was promoted Head Teacher. This school was for children up to 12 learning the English language and ran various age appropriate courses that I was responsible for teaching. I have also worked as a nanny/tutor for various families within their homes, providing vital out of school care whilst parents are often in work. Furthermore, relevant to working in Victoria I have a valid employee WWC Card, a National and an International Police Check First aid for education and care settings certificate and a Mandatory Reporting certificate.
