Hi! I have been a babysitter for about as long as I can remember, but dating back to when I was 14 years old - which makes about 10 years. More recently, however, I undertook a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education while working at my local childcare centre, and am thus a certified early childhood educator. In this position, I was involved in the care and educational development of children aged from 6 months to 6 years, which included a range of duties from cleaning and toilet training to emotional support and comfort, as well as helping the older children take their first steps into formal education. I love working with children, and still babysit on a casual basis. I maintain my Working With Children Check as well as my First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training just to be safe.
