Hi there, My name is Heather and I am an Early Years Educator looking for a nanny type role. I have a Bachelor Honours degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies which I obtained in Ireland. I am here on a working holiday visa and I am available to start work immediately. Creating friendly, safe and nurturing environments, helping children to thrive and reach their full potential in all aspects of development are just a few areas in which I excel. My background includes planning, preparing and documenting activities, ensuring safe and active learning environments and observing the children's development. I have three years experience working in early years centres. While working at Cheeky Cherubs before leaving to come to Sydney, we worked as a team around Cheeky Cherubs' own unique method which was heavily influenced by Reggio Emilia. I was based in the Dramatics room and I carried out project based activities with the children, focusing on their social and emotional development. As an educator, I am genuinely passionate about the early years. I always take the time to get to know each child and their backgrounds.
