I have recently moved from Geelong to the Portland area to support my partner who is a graduate Secondary School teacher in town. I am looking for casual employment while I study my Certificate IV in Early Childhood Education. I absolutely love kids and providing support to families is something that makes me very happy. I have worked casually with a family of 7 (5 children under 9 and 2 with special needs) in Geelong for the last 12 months as a babysitter and nanny. Leaving this job (and the family) was a difficult decision, but as I wanted to support my partner in his new career it was necessary. I would consider myself bubbly, energetic, kind and compassionate. I love providing care for children and engaging with young people, which is why I want to become an early childhood educator after studying. I would love the opportunity to work with families around the Glenelg area, as I want to meet new people and have new experiences. I have a Current Working with Children’s Check and am more than willing to provide a Police Check. I am able to pass on contact details of the parents of the family I worked with in Geelong if that is desired.
