I have worked previously as a child carer for 3 seperate families in the past 4 years. 2 of the families had 2 children whilst the other had 1 child, with the ages ranging from 5 - 11 years old. I am experienced working a range of mornings, days and nights. For one family I would often work from 8am - 5pm and would spend the day ensuring the children would be entertained (no television was allowed) which involved me taking them to the park, cooking with them or doing activities. I was also responsible for all the cooking and cleaning for the day. I also have worked many nights in which I would often make dinner and clean up after. Then I would have to clean and dress them for bed which would often involve some reading. I have also intermittently worked as an au pair for one family, staying for a couple of nights whilst they were away - leading me to do all the morning duties; prepare school lunch, clean up and walk to school.
