I have 5 years experience in early childhood teaching from ages 0-5 years. I completed my certificate III in children services in 2014, and once completing year 12 I worked at my Mothers childcare centre for a year as a Assitant float. In 2015 I left my Mother’s Centre to go experience childcare independently at a new Centre in which I worked there for 4 years. During this time I went from being an Assitant to becoming a Group Leader of the Toddlers room (15mnths-2years) however I also taught in all age groups. During the time of working at my recent centre I started my Diploma in children services and am currently in the process of finishing the certificate. My daily tasks at the centre consisted of: -Effective/positive communication towards parents/staff -programming everyday activities involving the EYLF and suitable to the children’s needs/developmental skills -cleaning -monitoring and guiding students on their placements -observations on children And many more daily tasks. I currently hold/have my : CPR training , First Aid/Anaphylaxis Training, Fire safety certificate, Certificate III in children services and am working towards my Diploma in children services.
