I am whole heartedly passionate about working with children of all ages and putting their emotional, social and physical needs at the forefront. I have just completed my Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Notre Dame specialising in Special Needs. Throughout my degree I have worked casually/part time in Child Care centres as an Educational Leader and Education Assistant. In these roles I was able to further develop my skills, knowledge and passion in working with children. I programmed daily activities, planned menus, prepared morning and afternoon tea, supervised up to 40 children in before and after school programs and vacation care programs, I organised exciting and interactive excursions and incursions, helped children with their homework and school assignment tasks, interacted professionally with parents and reported and reflected on children’s daily interactions. I thoroughly enjoy watching children grow and thrive and I am dedicated to helping them in their learning journey. Children’s safety is paramount and will always be my first priority and I will be vigilant in all I do to ensure each and every child feels safe, comfortable and supported.
