I have been working in Australia as a babysitter and support worker for the last 4 years. Although I'm heading into counselling practice, I have some availability for casual babysitting work. From my experience, being able to connect with children and understanding the way they communicate is paramount for a smooth and warm interaction. Simultaneously, it is also important to ensure the child feels safe with me physically and emotionally.
