I have just finished working up as a summer camp counselor in Indiana, USA. At the camp I was assigned to the ‘Iroquois’ cabin with another co counselor which had up to 12 new female campers each week, ages 7-9. We would run cabin activities and unit activities with the girls, help prepare them for the day and help with their night time routine. During the day when we ran our activities I would interact and be responsible for the well-being of children and teenagers 7-17.
