I'm Emma, I'm 27 years old & I'm from the countryside in the West of Ireland. I moved to Australia in September & have been working as a CRT since I arrived, across a wide range of schools. I'm the youngest of five siblings & I'm blessed to be an auntie to five little ones, four girls & one boy, aged 10, 9, 6, 4 & 2 who I miss dearly since I came here. My eldest niece O was born when I was 17, with her 4 siblings coming along in quick succession! I'm so fortunate that my brother built his house right next door to our parents, so the kids have always been a huge part of my life & I have been actively involved in their care since day one - playing with them, doing arts & crafts, feeding them, changing nappies, picking them up from training & school when I had time off. When I lived in Dublin, the older 3 would come & stay with me for a few nights during their Easter & Summer holidays & we would explore the big city together, going to play centres, the zoo, cafés, shopping etc. When I worked as a teacher in Dublin, I did after school tutoring with both primary & secondary school aged students, providing extra support in the Irish language & English literacy.
