I am 23 years old and have experience taking care of children in a working, volunteering, and studying capacity. I am currently 2 years into a Bachelor of Primary Education and have taken the year off study in 2025 to earn more money before advancing with my studies. I served as a Kids Church leader at my local church for 10 years, leading the same small group of girls from the age of 2-12. This involved caring for them physically, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. I worked as a nanny for a family with 2 children (18 months and 2 months) for almost 6 months and loved it. I have also completed 2 years of a Bachelor of Nursing. Although I didn’t finish this degree, it gave me a slightly greater level of medical knowledge than a first aid course which serves me well in general knowledge and potential medical issues. I love children, I have 3 nephews and have watched my sister nurture them and supported her as she navigates motherhood and the pressures that come alongside it. I am eager to ease the mental and physical load that comes with being a parent and believe caring for any child is a great honour.
