Professionally, my background is just as versatile (M. Sc. Psychotherapy with experience in Children and Youth Psychiatry). I’ve spent over a decade caring for animals, including dogs and horses, and I’ve worked in roles that required organization, reliability, and emotional intelligence. My time as a psychological counselor and nurse has taught me the importance of empathy and remaining calm under pressure—qualities I carry with me whether I’m helping with a child’s routine, preparing meals, or organizing emails. On top of that, I’ve loved the challenges of rural life, from hands-on farm work to managing the many moving pieces of day-to-day life.
