As a qualified teacher, I have experience teaching in schools abroad and in the UK, teaching children aged 3 to 11. I studied Primary Education in university, where I gained a First Class Degree and learnt so much about children's development. I also have experience working as an au pair and nanny. Last year I spent 3 months in The Bahamas as an au pair, living on board a family's sail boat. I was responsible for the care of two children, aged 1 and 3. I was also responsible for cooking meals for the whole family and crew, grocery shopping and the general housekeeping of the boat. I formed amazing bonds with the children and parents, who praised me for my positive and hard working attitude, and are keen to have me back onboard one day in the future. I am passionate about enriching children's lives with meaningful learning experiences and helping to create a nurturing environment where they feel confident to grow and learn. I also have my own transportation and full driving license.
