Hi everyone, my name is Ebony, I am 21 years old and despite my age have tons of experience caring for children in many different ways. I have been babysitting for family friends and my 24 younger cousins since I was in my early teens. When I graduated high school I started an early childhood and primary education course at Australian Catholic University where I completed a 5 week placement in a kindergarten with ages 3-5. Due to complications caused by Covid-19 I decided to take a break from my course after completing a year and a half and have been using the time to travel. I have just returned from the UK where I was a live in nanny (Au Pair) for 6 months with an amazing family- twin 3 year old girls and a newborn baby who was only 8 days old when I arrived. One of the girls also had autism so I gained so much knowledge of how to help her over the last 6 months. I have always loved anything where I could spend time with children and I will definitely seek a full time career in a primary or kindergarten environment when the time comes. I love reading with children, playing games, doing art projects and playing along with their amazing imaginations.
