Hello, my name is Diana. I am studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. I have worked as a babysitter since I was twelve and I feel like looking after children is my true passion. I know how to build a rapport with children. I understand children's needs. I know how to calm them down, make them stop crying, feed them, play with them and put them to sleep. For example, in a previous position the youngest girl had trouble falling asleep. In those situations I would prepare her a bottle of milk and sit with her near her cot and waited until she fell asleep. I have my license and I am more than happy to drive if needed. I am punctual and reliable. For example, when I was a nanny for an eleven year old boy I would arrive to his house in the morning at 7:00 am, help him to get ready and drop him off at school. Whilst volunteering at Good Start Early Learning I was able to develop my communication skills and gain a greater knowledge with caring for a large number of children in a team.
