My personality is warm, outgoing, patient, reliable honest and communicative. I believe that all children deserve the very best of care with lots of positive, loving encouragement,opportunities to try new things and explore their environment with supervision, learning through imaginative play, plus educational activities and regular outings to parks, nature walks, libraries, playgroups etc. I am a former enrolled nurse, aged care worker and life-line counsellor who has had 4 children of my own (now grown) and now enjoys the privilege of taking care of other people's children as if they were my own and I take my role very seriously. If you also require house keeping, you can rely on me to be organised and efficient, with washing, pegging out, folding, putting away, keeping the house orderly, ironing, even cooking and grocery shopping if required. At this time I have just recently completed two job assignments, one as a nanny for a delightful family looking after an eighteen month old girl along with her three and a half year old brother, for eight months. Position two involved helping another wonderful family by picking up their three children aged 10,14 and 16 from school and taking them to after school activities, ie, music. I also kept their rooms and beds tidy, changed linen weekly, attended to all washing, ironing and keeping the house maintained in an orderly manner. I am also a registered carer which means you may be able to get some of your care costs rebated. My qualifications are as follows: Blue Card for working with children, First Aid and C.P.R Cert, Police check, Nanny Certificate, Former Enrolled Nurse Cert, Drivers Licence, Parent References and Character References.
