Hi, I am Darcey. Over the past year I have worked for a local preschool in order to receive a traineeship for a Certificate III in early childhood. My contract was supposed to finish in July but I was fortunate enough to be signed off early to start my new traineeship for my Diploma in child services. I have grown a love for my job over the past year and extremely excited to further my studies. I have learnt to nurture and love the children I take care of, which I personally think is a massive help to be an early childhood educator. I also have just recently started my study at university where I am studying my degree of education (primary)!! To further my skills and opportunities, I would love to help local families take care of their children. I will use my knowledge from my job to help take care of your child. I am quick to adapt with change, which personally I think is a strong point, especially when working with children. I understand the routines for a child, such as; feeding, nappy change and sleep schedules.
