With 12 months experience working in after-school care, I have come accustomed to working with 12+ children at once. Due to this, I have been able to solidify my communication and conflict resolution skills by maintaining honesty and compassion. I am able to engage with children in their interests, while encouraging their social development alongside their peers. These skills are essential when forming solid bonds with younger children as they require, and deserve, a safe and supportive environment.
