My most recent job with children was in a special needs school as a Teaching Assistant in the U.K. My duties included: supporting students struggling in the lesson 1:1, maintaining a positive and reassuring attitude to encourage discouraged children to return to studying and/or the classroom, helping students with their reading, working with range of ages (yr 7-11) as well as a range of academic ability. I have also been an after-school nanny for a wonderful family and their 6 year old little girl from Jan 2022- July 2022. I would either pick her up from school or meet her there and entertain her for a few hours in the evening. They are happy to be a reference for me. I was the co-creator of a street dance class that I ran with my sister with children aged 9-15. My sister and I shared the duties of choreographing routines, teaching classes, communicating with guardians and sourcing performances/ competitions for the children. We finished in June 2022.
