Hi, I'm Dana, a young adult passionate about helping kids grow. Growing up in a rural community, I took on many volunteering roles that shaped my dedication to working with children. I've been a leader for my church’s youth group, helped with Sunday School lessons, assisted in Year 2 and Year 9 classes at my old school, taught basic netball skills to 5-6 year olds, and babysat four young kids in the community. What I love most about being around kids is their ability to be themselves, which I value in myself too. The qualities that make me great with children include patience, understanding, creativity, engagement, communication, and problem-solving. I stay calm and collected, even in tough situations, which helps me support kids through their emotional needs. I know every child is unique and might need different approaches. I'm great at creating fun and interactive activities that spark kids’ interests and help them build new skills. My clear and caring communication style helps me build strong relationships with kids and keep parents in the loop. With my experience and dedication to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, I'm confident I can make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children I work with.
