I have primarily worked in the disability sector caring for children with autism and other abilities as well as adult and teenagers which I loved! After 6 years I transitioned into community services primarily working within housing, homelessness, family violence ect which I also enjoyed thoroughly however relocated to regional Victoria earlier this year and opted to enter aged care and hospitality. I have professionally cared for children with disabilities for a number of years and been the on call babysitter to my sisters and freinds through the span of my career which is something I thrive in from newborn to tweens. Lots of playtime along with bed time, bathing, homework/educational play and meal time and other extra things to help the parents.
