I am a 27 year-old primary school teacher from Ireland. I have been in Melbourne for a year on a WHV. I believe that my role as an educator assists greatly with my ability to care for children outside of the school. The skills that I have developed through my experience as both a Mainstream Class Teacher and Special Education Teacher e.g., punctuality, diligence and adaptability are extremely important in caring for children. I am extremely passionate about teaching and enjoy to babysit as a form of supplementary income. I have worked with children from a young age as I am the eldest of all of the grandchildren on both sides of my family and babysat my younger siblings , cousins and the children of family friends from my teenage years. I am extremely proficient in feeding, entertaining, reading stories to and putting children to bed alongside other activities essential to caring for children. I am an avid reader and enjoy running, well-being practices and yoga. I would be looking for casual babysitting work and I am very flexible in regards to areas, number of children and starting and finishing times.
