I went to a prestigious boarding school in California that instilled ambition and independence from a very young age. I babysat multiple faculties children over my four years living at school and when I was a senior I had the opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant to incoming freshman to help them acclimate to the rigorous boarding school lifestyle. Having loved my leadership teaching role at boarding school, four years ago I received my TEFL and taught at one of the best international schools in Phuket, Thailand. I was instrumental in teaching English as a second language to students aged 3-5 years old from all over the world. I monitored children relationships and interactions with other children and adults. I instilled important values such as patience, listening, and encouraging kindness and compassion. I believe it's important to have a nurturing role in a child's' life to benefit communication skills. I have always loved children and making them feel comfortable and happy to grow into the best version of themselves.
