I have worked with children for over 3 years in a before and after school care setting, where I have provided genuine care and built meaningful connections with the kids. During this time, I have been responsible for meal preparation, assisting with homework, and implementing and facilitating engaging, interest-based activities that promote both learning and fun. I take pride in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages children to thrive. Additionally, I love to cook and am always happy to help with meal preparation, ensuring that children have nutritious and delicious food. I have just completed my third year of my University Social Work degree. I currently work part time with children in a community centre, where i run programs to encourage social and emotional learning.
