I am a confident, organised and friendly individual who takes a lot of pride in the role of a child carer. I have cared for multiple children over the past 7 years, from ages 1- 15 years. This includes working with a senior child carer at her self employed business and also working separate with other families. My role would include completing the school drop off and pick up, preparing breakfast and school lunches and providing activities in the free time, alongside carrying out cleaning and house maintenance. With the children being in their early learning and primary school learning years, I would incorporate educational and creative aspects in the activities which include painting, crafts, memory games, reading and sports. This would be tailored to the individuals interests. I have grown up around a lot of children and have had a child carer from the age of 9 months to the age of 15 years which has provided me with a great knowledge of what is expected and the responsibilities you take on as a child carer.
