I have over a year of experience working in before and after-school care. In addition to this, I have over volunteered over 250 hours as an Education Assistant in one of our local Primary Schools. In my current role in OSCH care, I act as what's known as "responsible person". This means that I am the stand-in supervisor in charge of ensuring the safety and well-being of children, staff and parents. I have my first aid completing units such as provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Provide First Aid, Provide basic emergency life support and Provide First Aid in an education and care setting. During these courses, we covered First Aid for asthma and anaphylaxis. In addition to this, I hold a current police clearance, working with children check and a full driver's license with my own transport. In addition to my experience working with children, I have over 2 years of experience in the pet industry serving as a supervisor. During this time I completed extensive training with regard to animal nutrition, behaviour, enrichment and basic health information. Due to this experience, I am more than comfortable working with a wide range of animals.
