I am a St John Ambulance Volunteer- 13 years providing First Aid at Community Events, ranging from small to large events. I have provided first aid to young Children at numerous events - eg- The Adelaide Zoo, Science Alive, Adelaide Farmers Market, The Royal Adelaide Show, and most recently Brighton New Year Eve. The age range 2 years - 16 years old. My ability to present confidently, with calmness, kindness, patience, comfort and reassurance before, during and after treatment helps them feel supported and cared for when they are injured. Events are not always injury related,. Therefore, seeing children enjoy Community Events is terrific, ensuring safety is paramount. I am a Non smoker I have a current National Police Clearance and a current Working with Children Check.
