Hi there! My name is Candace ; I’m a local artist with a diverse working background in a range of positions in retail, customer service, childcare and the hospitality industry. I’m first aid certified and have my own car/P1 license. Previously I have worked and experienced life as an Au Pair (live-in Nanny) in Sydney where I cared for two young girls (ages 5 and 9) for around 9 months. - There my duties were as follows… - Before/after school care - All meals & school lunch preparations - Safe transport to/from school - Assisted with homework - Developmentally appropriate discipline - Daily cleaning/laundry - Organized playdates & weekend adventures I have recently taken a position at the YMCA as a trainee OSHC educator. There I am learning how to care and manage groups of up to 30 children, providing snacks/meals (with dietary alternatives), supervised playtime and ensuring positive relationships. I also volunteer with the Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia (RDA) where I assist during lessons in ensuring the safety and comfort of riders, as well as providing care for the horses on Wednesday mornings.
