I am currently studying a bachelor of education (primary) at Newcastle University. I have taught martial arts to children aged 4-17 since I was 11, helping out in the crèche during gym hours. I was school captain at both Ashtonfield Public School and Maitland Grossmann High School and loved taking on roles such as organising events, public speaking and mentoring for the new students. I currently work in a bakery around my study so I am used to early mornings, working in fast paced environments with people of all ages. I love planning fun activities for the children I baby sit like scavenger hunts arts, crafts and baking and always spend time of an evening before they go to bed, tidying up the house, with each child helping with their respective areas, as I find it’s a fun way to have a little competition between siblings and encourages tidy habits.
