I am an experienced carer for children looking for work after finishing my PhD in Australian Literature. Though I eventually hope for a permanent position in academia, covid has had a particularly severe impact on the academic job market and this transitional time for me is likely to be long. Though my qualifications are hardly standard for someone seeking a child care role, I adore children, caring for them and supporting them in their lifelong learning at all stages. I love housework and am fastidiously clean, I love walks and swims, trips to the park and reading books at bedtime, or any time. I am always enthusiastic about meeting people and participating in my local community.
