I have just completed my Dual Degree in Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Queensland. I am almost due to finish 12 weeks in a paediatric placement as a part of my studies so I have had experience with a diverse range of children of different ages and with unique needs. This also means I have been trained in basic/paediatric first aid and resuscitation. I am not due to start my Graduate Midwife position until February 2024; therefore, I am looking for an exciting and rewarding job to keep me busy in the mean time. While I have no babysitting experience, I welcome a challenge to learn and grow and develop new skills that will help me in my future in healthcare. I believe my experience with children will highly benefit me in this role as I can continue helping families. Throughout 4 years of uni and hospital placement, I have become an adaptable, reliable worker and a fast learner. I have my own car, and will have a very flexible schedule from mid October 2023 to February 2024. References available on request.
