Hi my name is Brooke, I am an Early Childhood Educator with a Cert 3 qualification. I have worked as a babysitter for over 5 years whilst also working in a childcare centre for 18 months. I love working with children as I cannot wait to be a mother myself one day!! I am 19 years old soon to be 20. I have my own transport, I am on my Green P’s however in a few months I’ll be upgraded to a full license once I turn 20. I have worked in the kitchen one or two days a week at my childcare centre for nearly the whole 18 months of being there. I love cooking and find enjoyment in the little things like cleaning. I love being able to teach children new skills, I find it is a real privilege to be able to watch them grow whilst they discover their own sense of agency. I love being outdoors, allowing the children to get messy but also having the balance in between where the children learn to clean up after themselves in a fun, stress free manner. I believe it is important to teach children to look after themselves and their wellbeing, guiding them through difficult/ strong emotions and helping them find ways to regulate. I am happy to start working as a nanny as soon as possible :)
