During my training leading up to my two years working at Tiny Town Childcare and Kindergarten I have been faced with numerous different situations ranging from verbal and physical abuse, to supporting children with challenging character traits. These experiences have helped me gain knowledge of the background to these extreme behaviours and develop methods to help with the child’s specific needs and requirements in order to positively educate in a controlled environment. Working with a group of children with ages ranging from 1.5 years to 5 years of age often raised cause for concern (due to different strengths and personalities), however, maintaining control, structure and attention of the children insured that it was a safe environment for all.
