A little bit about me, I have a Diploma in children's services with just over 10 years experience working in a child care setting, ages from 6 weeks to 12 years. I am patient and caring, I have been told I bring a calming effect which children are drawn to, a goal of mine when caring for children is to provide a nurturing environment, where children feel safe, happy, and encourages positive identity and self-esteem, putting them first, listening, communicating with them in a kind, respectful manner. I believe all children should treated with fairness, empathy, given equal opportunity to grow and learn as they play. I enjoy working with all age groups and find it to be such as rewarding job, watching as their little personalities develop brings me so much joy. I have a current first aid. I have done various training and course such as child protection, sun smart, infection control, food safety, safe sleeping practices and navigating Autism: the early years.
