Hello! My name is Ava, and I am here to further my childcare journey. I grew up in a big family with lots of younger cousins to look after, and once I got to high school, babysitting my neighbors' kids felt second nature to me. During uni in NYC, I worked full-time as a nanny and babysitter to 14 different families over several years. I do my very best to approach this position with a mentality of safety, respect, fun, kindness, compassion, and courtesy. The majority of the children I have cared for were between 3 months & 5 years old. I hold a pediatric & adult CPR & first aid certification from the American Red Cross, a National Police Check, and would be happy to provide references. Let the adventure begin!
