I have worked within a Primary School as a Student Learning Support Officer (teachers aide) for 2 years. Within this role I would assist a diverse change of children that have special needs, behavioral deficits, and any additional learning support needed. This role also involves being a mentor and emotional support. I also withhold a current working with children check and police check. I’m half way through my Bachelor of Social Work degree where I have gained immense knowledge in all domains, including interpersonal communication with diverse people, embracing empathy, trauma informed care, etc. Prior to this, I studied Community Services at Tafe (diploma). I have had years of experience caring for children, family, friends and children. By the end of my degree I hope to reside in a field of work that involves child protection and/or facilitation of emotional support. When working with your children I love to always be outdoors when possible, doing craft, reading, always being creative. I consider myself as a fun, warm, caring, nurturing and responsive person. Working with children is the most rewarding thing I could do.
