I currently work part time as a nanny for three children (preschool and school aged). I help get the children ready for school, cook and do the pick-up / drop off. I have experience including Girl Guide leading (3 years), volunteering in a children's group (2 years), mentoring and social support for a teenager with additional needs (2 years), babysitting, and working in summer camps teaching children new skills such as sports, arts and crafts and cooking. I enjoy reading, cooking, discussing everyday life, and a variety of active sports including: marathon running, mountain biking, swimming and bush walking. My physical endurance would be advantageous in keeping children engaged. With my varied passions and considerate manner, I am likely to connect well with your child. I will be working towards a Masters of Teaching over the next two years. I take joy in seeing children become excited about growing and discovering our world through play.
