Having raised 5 children - 2 step children (now 28 and 24) and 3 of my own (now 18,17,16 years) I have extensive hands on experience. I believe love,discipline, fairness, genuine care and lots of fun are essential to raising happy, well balanced, caring, compassionate children. Children will only learn the lessons they are taught, so its crucial to teach them well. I love helping children be the best they can be and develop into who they truly are. I see myself as the modern day Mary Poppins, developing a trusting relationship with children is crucial. I have a blue card, a current First Aid/CPR certificate, and although I do not have a certificate in child minding, I guarantee you my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience far out ways any piece of paper, which I believe does not reflect who I am or my capabilities anyhow.
