I have been fortunate to share and experience the childhood of my nieces and nephews, whether directly related or children of my best friends. I also had the opportunity to care for a little girl for almost two years, which reinforced the idea that caring for a baby or a child not only involves meeting their physical needs but also fostering their emotional and cognitive development, ensuring their environment is safe and loving.
