Hi! My name is Anastasia but my friends call me Ana. I am a scout, a teacher, an artist and a sister to four younger siblings. I have been working in primary schools since I was 16, and before that, looking after my younger siblings and cousins. Children and caring for their wellbeing is an important part of my life, with a career as a high school art teacher in my near future. I love a good outdoor adventure, my scout group is my second home. I have made so many lasting memories and conquered many fears with the support of my scouting peers. My love of the outdoors is something I hope to bring into my teaching practice to encourage my students to build a connection to the land around us and push them out of their comfort bubbles. Art has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I have had the amazing opportunity, through uni, to exhibit my works on multiple occasions, and curate shows with local artists. There was no doubt in my mind when I chose to become a Visual Arts teacher. I have experience working with children of all abilities, currently casually nannying for a 7 year old with autism. I am looking for flexible positions while I juggle my university obligations.
