Hi! My name is Amie, I am 28, a student from Ireland currently studying Fashion Design. I have lived and worked in Melbourne for 3 years before commencing my BA in September 2018. When I was 15 years old I began a part-time job as a children's party host in a childcare play centre hosting birthday parties for groups of up to 25 children from the ages of 4-12. At 18, I began working in childcare in the creche (from infants to 3 years old) full time during uni holidays and part time during uni term. Finally when I was 21 I became the childcare assistant manager - which meant I was assisting the manager in overlooking all areas of childcare including the staff for the nursery, wobbler room, creche, Montessori (kinder) and birthday parties. I have always had an excellent relationship with children - I love doing activities with them, being a fashion student I excel in arts & crafts however from my experience in childcare in Ireland I am confident with homework, feeding and the general care and wellbeing of the child. I am currently in uni one day a week and seeking part time week day work, I also love animals so pets aren't an issue and would be confident with multiple children.
