My name is Ambah , I am 20 years old, 21 in November, I grew up in Moura, central qld, a small mining town. I come from a big family, I am 1 of 10 kids, I have 2 older sisters as well as an older brother, I also have 2 younger brothers one who is 15 this year and the other is 10, I then have 4 younger sisters, and their ages are 10, 8, 7and 3. My 7 year old sister has cerebral palsy so I also have needed knowledge to baby sit and look after with children with any disabilities because I know it’s not always easy to find someone. Growing up in Moura throughout school I did a lot of baby sitting for my mum since grade 6 (13/14 years old) due to both parents working. My mum was a full time bar manager and work basically every night from when I got home from school until between midnight and 4am, my step dad is a driller therefore being FIFO (fly in, fly out) so he’d be away for months before coming home for a short time. I taught myself how to cook, clean and do everything necessary to make things easier for my parents. I’m also very creative and love doing little activities with kids.
