My name is Alix. I have been doing Child care for over 10 years looking after young kids and babies, working with a variety of diverse children and of all ages. I have taught Art classes, kids yoga and kids to swim. My previous employment has been a 1 on 1 support worker for 4 years, a Swimming teacher for toddlers and young kids for 5 years & working in an early learning centre for 1 year. My experience is diverse and experienced and I feel confident to take care of children in different settings and situations. I am creative, adventurous and a curious, with a passion to bring out the best in the kids. I will often get the kids out bike riding, swimming, doing art, playing music and finding creative and fun ways to connect and learn. In my spare time I run dance workshops, offer Massage and have a passion for the outdoors. I'm very adaptable and flexible to meet kids needs and new born babies. People often describe me as very accepting, fun loving, nurturing and easeful to be around. I'm patient and a caring soul, with excellent communication skills and listening skills. I'm organized, confident & reliable and consider myself a natural with taking care of young kids and babies, and helping the family to feel supported.
