I’m a mum to a beautiful 12 year old boy. Who has a diagnosis of autism. Through this experience: I have become familiar with all sorts of different therapies and strategies to help children with ASD. Which are also simple and effective strategies that work on all children of different ages (with or without a disability) I have taken part in an autism training course and have helped support other parents with their children. For the last 8 years I have helped raise my partners two daughters. Who are currently at the ages of 9 & 10 years of age. Additionally to this, I am currently working in a family day care centre. I work across all four rooms providing me experience with all of the children from the ages of 6 months onwards to five years of age. While I also foster a 6 year old from child protective services. I currently have my working with children’s clearance and through their eyes abuse and neglect training.
