I have worked in retail for the last 5/6 years and have many interactions with different aged children. I have always aimed to make their experience feel safe and comfortable as I knew as when I was kid it could be intimidating talking/being served by an older adult. I love interacting with kids and building a great connection between myself and them as I want them to gain trust in me as well as feel a sense of comfort when I am to take them into my care. The only previous experience I’ve had is babysitting my cousins a couple of times and it has always been enjoyable as we keep on the go, do activities to keep ourselves entertained as well as let one another do our own activities we enjoy. I feel I can resemble the strengths and attributes required to take someone’s else’s child/ren into my own care to produce a positive experience for all. I am more than happy to babysit for newborns through to 12 years of age.
