I am an honest and reliable individual employed as a before and after school childcare assistant, looking to use my spare time providing babysitting services. I am originally from the UK and adopt a person centred approach in order to provide high standards of care. Over the last 6 years I have acquired extensive knowledge and experiences supporting children via my studies, employment and volunteering roles. In the UK I was as a Learning Support Assistant with ALN pupils. I also volunteered at a well-being sanctuary providing after school club sessions. Here I lead and supervised activities, encouraged skills development and provided behavioural and emotional support. I have 6 years personal experience fostering. I am a “Significant Adult” for our placements and have received positive acknowledgment from social services for this. I have studied 2 years of Child Development (Cert 111) and 4 years of Health and Social care (Diploma). These studies were based on supporting and protecting children and young people, understanding their needs as they strive towards achieving their developmental milestones and how to encourage their individual development in key areas including cognitive, emotional and social skills.
