My name is Aaliyah and I am currently working towards obtaining my diploma in childcare. For the past year I have worked at a childcare centre on the Gold Coast and loved it ! I’ve learned so much in my year there and made so many connections with great families ! My mother is a foster carer and has been actively caring since I was 6 years old, and we have cared of a lot of babies, children & teenagers in need live in our home as a safe place. This means that I have been able to learn new approaches to many different behaviours, as many of the children were high needs or required extra support, and I am more than happy to extend a loving, helping hand!
